    Standard Return Policy

    We at Les Échiquiers du Roi understand that sometimes you may need to return an item. You have a maximum of14 calendar days from the date you receive your order to submit a return request. Once your return request is approved, you will have14 additional calendar days to return the merchandise to us.

    Holiday Return Policy (Orders placed between November 15th and November 30th)

    For orders placed during the holiday season, we offer an extended return window. You will have untilDecember 31st of the current year to submit a return request. Once your return request is approved, you will have14 additional calendar days to return the merchandise to us.

    General Return Conditions

    • To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team.
    • All returned items must be inoriginal, unused condition and must include all original packaging, product manuals, and any accessories.
    • You are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning the item. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service.
    • Original shipping charges are non-refundable. In the case of free shipping promotions, the cost we incurred to ship the original order will be deducted from any potential refund.
    • Arestocking fee of 15% will be applied to all returned items, except for those that are damaged or defective.

    • Custom-made chessboards
    • Downloadable products (e-books, software downloads)
    • Opened software or DVDs (unless defective)

    Damaged Items

    If you receive a damaged item, please contact us immediately. You will have7 days from the date of delivery to report any damages. Please keep all original packaging materials, as they may be required by the shipping carrier for inspection. We will work quickly to resolve the situation at no cost to you. This may involve replacing the damaged item or issuing a full refund.

    Order Cancellation

    If you wish to cancel an order that has not yet shipped, please contact us as soon as possible. Once an order is shipped, it can only be returned following the standard return policy.
