Handcrafted in Europe with stained ash for the dark squares and maple for the light squares, it showcases deep shades of blue and beige. Its generous dimensions of 40 cm by 40 cm, with 40 mm squares, provide an ideal playing space. The varnished finish highlights the natural wood grain, while the Les Échiquiers du Roi silkscreen adds a touch of distinction.

The chess pieces are carved from boxwood (Gardenia latifolia), for both the light and dark pieces, offering a visually harmonious consistency.
