    At our warehouse, we assemble the chess sets and meticulously package them to ensure their protection during transit. Finally, we prepare the orders for shipment, maintaining our high standards of quality and presentation.

    SELECTION OF WOOD

    Various types of wood are carefully selected, including rosewood, boxwood, acacia and ebony. In the photo, the ebony with its distinctive dark heartwood is clearly recognizable. The wood quality is meticulously inspected to ensure only the best pieces are chosen, prioritizing those that won't crack. Only the finest quality wood is selected.

    WOOD PROCESSING

    The wood is cut directly in the manufacturing factories for the chess pieces, allowing for better stock management. To prevent cracking, the wood must dry for several months. This process is also carried out in the factories to ensure the quality of the drying.

    TRANSPORT AND QUALITY CONTROL

    The chess pieces are transported to our warehouse in France. The pieces are then carefully packaged and prepared for shipment to our customers. The transport is carried out by air, making it the only part of our chess sets shipped this way.

    HARVESTING AND PREPARATION OF WOOD

    Here, hornbeam, sycamore, and cherrywood are collected. The wood is then cut in local sawmills, ensuring precise processing and optimal quality for further use.

    MANUFACTURING

    We then work closely with a Polish family-owned business. The wood is cut, and the entire process is carried out on the same site, ensuring consistency and quality throughout production.
